Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)Alao’s ARK Staffing is hiring a Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health) (Temporary) in Monroe County, PA for our client, supporting behavioral health services, clinical assessments, medication administration, and care coordination for individuals with serious mental illness and developmental disabilities. This opportunity will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help individuals maintain stability, improve quality of life, and access essential healthcare services within the community. The ideal candidate will bring strong nursing skills, a compassionate approach, and experience supporting behavioral health or special needs populations.

Responsibilities as the Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health):

• Clinical Assessments: Conduct nursing assessments, monitor health conditions, and identify clinical needs for individuals receiving behavioral health services.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications, monitor treatment effectiveness, and ensure accurate medication documentation.
• Health Monitoring: Track medical conditions, document clinical observations, and monitor seizure activity or other health-related concerns.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, healthcare providers, and community resources to support participant care plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, assessments, and nursing documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
• Participant Support: Provide education, advocacy, and ongoing nursing support to individuals with mental health, developmental, and physical disabilities.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health):

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or an accepted compact state license is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, or behavioral health populations is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic documentation systems and Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, assessment, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in supporting individuals with complex behavioral health and developmental needs are required.
